The Hometown Foundation, Inc. began its annual HungerLESS Holidays program to address food insecurity during the holiday season. A time that is meant to be filled with joy and celebration can also be filled with anxiety for low-income families, who are unable to afford a home-cooked meal. Providing a turkey and other produce helps alleviate the financial strain associated with holiday meals, allowing families to enjoy the season's festivities.

In 2024, the HungerLESS Holidays program proudly donated 30,000 turkeys and more than 150,000 pounds of fresh produce throughout the Northeast. Since 2020, The Hometown Foundation has continued to expand the program’s reach even further—extending our impact to high food insecurity populations as far as Texas and Florida.

Throughout the holiday season, our mission is simple: we want to bring communities together so that no family goes hungry or in need over the holiday season.

Every year, we increase our reach thanks to the generosity of our community, partners, and sponsors. By donating to the HungerLESS Holidays program, you can make a difference for these families by helping us provide turkey and other essential holiday food items for local families who might otherwise go without.
