Reach for the Stars Form

During July and August, retailers have the opportunity to make a powerful difference by supporting individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their local communities.

Through this flexible fundraising program, 50% of all funds raised directly support the local IDD program of your choice, while the remaining 50% benefit The Hometown Foundation’s IDD initiatives, allowing retailers to create meaningful impact both locally and beyond.

At The Hometown Foundation, Inc., we are committed to supporting IDD organizations and the individuals they serve year-round. Our work centers on promoting inclusion, advocacy, and access to opportunities that empower individuals with IDD to thrive within their communities.

Many retailers proudly employ individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, recognizing the dedication, talent, and hard work they bring to their teams every day. This fundraising program offers a meaningful way to celebrate those team members, honor their contributions, and give back to the local programs and organizations that provide critical support, training, and resources to help individuals with IDD succeed—both in the workplace and beyond.

A cornerstone of this commitment is our signature event, The Dream Ride Experience, a globally recognized celebration of inclusion that honors the achievements, abilities, and dreams of our Dream Riders—individuals with IDD and others in need. This year, The Dream Ride Experience will take place at the Farmington Polo Club on August 21, 22, and 23, bringing together partners, families, and supporters in a powerful show of unity and community spirit.

For retailers, this program offers a meaningful opportunity to support local IDD organizations that matter to your customers and employees, engage your community during the summer months, and align your brand with values of inclusion, advocacy, and impact. The Hometown Foundation provides the tools, guidance, and support needed to make participation simple and effective, allowing your team to focus on connecting with customers and making a difference.
