What We Do
The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is committed to helping those affected by major illnesses. We know the stress and pain that comes along with a diagnosis; that is why we developed our year-round Major Illness initiative.
Illness, both chronic and acute, can take its toll on many families. We are proud to support individuals, organizations, programs and studies that assist in various areas of care. Throughout the Foundation’s two decades, we have supported various charities for cancer, heart disease, sickle cell anemia, and more. This support has ranged from making the wishes of sick children come true, to funding research and everything in between. We are proud to support the medical community and those suffering from major illness in our goal of creating a healthier community.
How We Do It
Through monetary donations, sponsorships and fundraising events like our Birdies and Horsepower Golf Tournament, The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is able to change the lives of those fighting major illnesses. We are proud to provide reliable transportation, accommodating wheelchairs and other necessary equipment to ease the stress of these individuals and their families.
Here at The Hometown Foundation, Inc., we are always working to grow our initiatives. Our first annual Birdies and Horsepower Golf Tournament will take place at the Farmington Polo Club in Farmington, Connecticut in 2019 and will benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, providing innovative and specialized care for children. With your help, we aim to build a future filled with successful events like these in order to support the medical and healthcare industries even more.
